The movie series opens with the annual screening of Top Gun on Friday, May 22, kicking off Memorial Day Weekend. The movie nights continue on the last Friday of June, July and August during the museums Free Fridays.

Curious about the awesome work other teens are doing in NYC? The Intrepid Museum Youth Summit is a FREE conference that invites teens to visit the Intrepid Museum and hear about the incredible problem-solving projects created by their peers to address issues across the world. Homeschool Program: Adventures in Aviation

The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum has one of the most varied aircraft collections in the nation, with five branches of the U.S. armed forces represented, as well as several distinctive aircraft from around the world. Learn more about how these aircraft fly and why they are designed in specific ways. Explore the historic spaces of the ship, view exhibits with a Museum educator, and participate in hands-on STEM activities all about aircraft design and function!

Astronomy Night: Deep Field - Hubble

The film, titled Deep Field: The Impossible Magnitude of our Universe, was inspired by Grammy® award-winning composer Eric Whitacre’s symphonic work Deep Field and features Hubble’s stunning imagery including brand new visualizations and fly-throughs of far-flung galaxies, nebulas, and star clusters that depict the awesome beauty of the universe.
